Dragon's Lair Cabinet
« on: January 18, 2006, 07:19:32 pm »
I am set to start my Dragon's Lair cabinet project and had a question.  A while back I saw a site that had repos of the actual cabinet without the guts, does anyone know what site that was its so perfect to start this up!

Thanks!

Here is a link to the dimensions of the cabinet if that is what you are looking for.

I saw those too and got excited until I saw the price.

If I recall they wanted like $795 for an EMPTY CABINET! You can get fully working REAL Dragon's Lair machine for like $300 more!

I will try to find the link and post it later tonight.

This it? A tad pricey though.

I think the site you are talking about is Arcade Cabinet Builders.

I used to go there alot when I needed to try and reference things on the Dragon's Lair cabinet I was building.

Anyway, he then started to work on Cliff Hanger cabinets and set up the webpage to show his progress on the work he was doing.   Here is the link.

http://www.arcadecabinetbuilders.com/

I'm not sure what he is doing now as in the middle of the Cliff Hanger cabinets something happened with his health or he got in an accident and he put the project on hold for a while,
not sure what is going on now but it would be nice if he put up the old web page so others could use it as a reference for their Dragon's Lair cabinet. (since he does not seem to be selling them anymore.)

I used the dimensions on Jakobud's site to build mine.

Hope this helps.

Thnaks for all your replies!  I believe it was Arcadegames4u but it was different it was a completley brand new stripped down cabinet.  I want to actually rebuild it from scratch like that and buy a different piece like each week and finally have a full blown brand new repro!!!

Ill keep looking
