How about a modified cocktail table design - I saw a desk the other day that had a monitor inside / below the table surface - I guess for execs who didn't want a monitor on their desk .... it was viewable through a smoked glass window and the monitor was angled about 45 degrees.
Could you then mount a control panel with side rails, so that when in use, it could slide out, but when not in use it would push back inside. I guess you could take the concept further and have a shutter that closed to cover the monitor when you push the CP back into the desk to totally hide the game station.
I am sure there is a way to then pop the CP up once it is pulled out or maybe slide it out upside down and then flip it over to play?
