Thanks!

But i really need a original DONKEY KONG control panel.

I picked up a DK this weekend, But it has No control panel on it.

I believe the DK3 control panel has the buttons in a different location?

Than a Original DK control panel.

But i will keep you in mind if nothing else turns up?

Thanks!   :)

Once you've been helped, if anyone has just the overlay, I'd be interested..  My dad's DK has a DK Jr. overlay rather than a DK..  I've been watching on ebay but everything seems to have cig burns..  *sigh*

/hijack

Thanx!

Well, you could always reproduce it using this.

I also have a DK overlay, looks great except for a crack in it. Might not look too bad once it is glued. If anyone wants it for the price of shipping, LMK...

You are right the button layout is different, but it worked great until I was able to get an original.

Quarterarcade.com sells repro CPOs for DK and DK Jr. I picked up side art from him and it is a perfect repro in every way.

His CPOs are silkscreened on plexi like the originals.

I have a small crack on my DK Jr. CPO and I need to replace it with one of these. I also have a DK control panel that needs a new CPO. I'm not planning on selling it because it's part of a complete DK kit I have. I'm just waiting for a vs. cab to become available in the area.

I have one you can have.  It was pulled from the cabinet and all parts removed (given to pcates).  It's the base CP board with the mounting plate for the joystick.  I was about to toss it because I"m moving but you can have it if you want it.  PM me if interested.

Keep an eye out for the joysticks that go in VS. cabs.  I'm pretty sure they are the same except there's a 4-way restrictor on them.  I had to make the restrictors for my DK restoration.

I have the VS. joystick, the only problem is that the VS. Panel is metal, and the stick is short on a wooden panel. But if you want it LMK.

Hey man, can you tell me what the height & width of that coin door is?  You don't have to be exact down to the 32nd of an inch, but I'm curious what size it is.
Thanks

I was asking about the entire door.  You're speaking of just the coin mech, yes?

That is the whole door,

Not the coin mech hole in the door.

I believe I have one on ebay right now, it currently is framed in a bartop door, but the actual mech is labled model # 730-A* made by asahi, without the frame it measures the 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 like wichboard said.
