help with joy stick

    i bought a joystick recently, its a T-stick made my happs/il, and when i hooked it up today to the encoder it works great except in 8 way mode. In 4 way all 4 directions work perfectly but in 8 way when i move the joystick to the right it gets stuck or something and in mamewah and the games it keeps going to the right on its own. Its like ill click it once and then its stuck so when i go to the right again it doesnt click until i go to the left and then back to the right... Is there anything i can do? i searched the forums and couldnt find much. I really need help on this one. Thanks again.
