Best way to remove giant sideart
« on: January 14, 2006, 12:46:27 pm »
I just bought a Primal Rage cabinet that has a giant decal covering the entire side. It's in bad shape (and ugly without the game) and where it's cracked and peeling on the sides, I can see the standard black sides underneath. What's the best way to remove this without damaging the sides of the cabinet?

I'm thinking using a heat gun to help pull it off, then using some type of solvent to clean up the residue. Is there a better way to remove a six-foot-tall decal?
Brevity is not my strong suit.

No...that's pretty much the best way.  Just don't heat it *too* much, or the sticker will melt when you try and pull it off, making more work.
