I posted this on another forum, but haven't had any reply.  So maybe somebody here can help me out.
I have the Performance VGA adapter. Has anybody opened this up and modified it to run at 15khz? if so, could you give a little insight on how you did it? i plan on doing it, but am just a little wary of ruining such a GREAT piece of hardware.
I just opened it up (BOY was that a pain!!

) and can't make heads or tails of the wires.  I know that i need to is disconnect wire 6 from the ground, but I have no idea which wire is what.  It doesnt seem to be like any of the schematics that I have seen.  I will post a picture tomorrow, but in the meantime - does anybody have any experience doing this?  Am I wasting my time with this adapter and should just go with a cheap Naki or other adapter?  I really want the automatic bypass on this so that will be at least one less switch to worry about.
Thanks!
