free laminated particle board (aka countertop)
« on: February 05, 2003, 10:42:27 am »
Region: east central Georgia, USA

Statesboro. Hill street, downtown.

Costal Countertops has a pile of remnants by the street with a sign that reads, "Free tops. Take all you want, but stack up what you move."

A lot of good material there, if it's in your neighborhood. They had one piece I really wanted, but it was too big to fit into my truck. It was like 10' long, and 1' wide. Would make anexcellent shelf, or a whole slew of control panels.

Some scrap particle board, too.

Bob

Far western tip of South Carolina -- Where _Deliverance_ was filmed. I know a guy who is related to the banjo player.

I think I'm the only guy I know who hasn't seen the movie.

I guess it's the biggest thing that's happened around here since Sherman decided to *not* burn Pendleton.
