of planing its time for MAME.Now cabinet came all wired up with coin door and
JAMA harness +wico track ball, my setup will have two 4-8 way joysticks 6 buttons each player,1&2 player buttons happ tr.ball arcade connector not usb,and two pinball buttons. Finally my question is can i use existing harness or should i start from scratch. What is easier way and cheaper to go,because my boss(wife) its already complaining about spending money.

You can use the Jamma harness already installed.

You need 2 boards.. J-Pac for the joystick and buttons and the Opti-pac for the trackball.  Goto www.ultimarc.com for more information how those boards work.

Since I know something about wiring(I'm electrician), I will go with I-Pac and Opti-Pac. Just not sure Ultimarc have two versions:
1. http://www.ultimarc.com/ipacve.html

2. http://www.ultimarc.com/ipac1.html and no prices that i can find.

That's because he took his shopping cart down. You're not ordering until Jan 9 when he returns from vacation. The 'regular' IPAC is 39.95 + 13 shipping (assuming you're in the U.S.)

Tnx ,don't get me wrong i don't mind reading and searching just after few hours, days and weeks everything is getting blurry and makes less sense then before. That why I really appreciate yours help. So all I need then is MINIPAC and I guess if I build my own IDE cable I can find that on the Board??

Wiring Diagram:

http://www.ultimarc.com/mp_inst.html

The IDE cable is the same as the cable you connect your hard drive to your motherboard.
