Starwars cockpit measurements
« on: December 28, 2005, 01:17:14 pm »
Hey everybody.  I was thinking about designing a flight/racing cockpit cab, but I wanted to do so having the basic design and dimensions of the starwars cabs.  Does anyone have the measurements?  I have checked Jakobud's website (though not within the last month), but haven't seen measurements there or anywhere else.  If someone has them or would be willing to post the measurements, I would greatly appreciate it.

Wow! What a deal - $950 for a yoke, and you get a cabinet for free!

Yeah, that's a tad out of my price range...not to mention the shipping charges ...yikes.  But thanks anyway.  Seriously though, I want to use the basic design and dimensions, but modify the cab proportionally to accomodate a 27" screen and a chair on sliders.

mmmm $1500  tempting, but ....no.

Back in MY day we lived on the moon and we had to build a rocket ship from scratch to get to the Earth before we suffocated.
