Happ competiton installation question!
« on: December 27, 2005, 06:31:46 am »
Hi all! Please look at this page when reading the post :)

http://www.happcontrols.com/joysticks/competition_joy_e.htm

I've installed a Happ competition in my metal panel, but at
first the stick was too long, so I removed the white round thing
called 95-0194-00 to get it shorter. Now the length is pretty
good, and the spring-back is so-so- Not near as fast as the
former, very old, joysticks on the machine.

When I used the white round thingy(95-0194-00), it seemed
that I need to push the white square(actuator?) a little back
to get the clip(43-0019-00) on....I didn't need to do that now
without the round thing(95-0194-00)

So which is the right way to assemble this joystick? Is it supposed to be set at different heights?

Thanks,

Nicholas

EDIT: I actually tried taking the round(95-0194-00), and putting it on the other end, push it in and apply the clip. This seemed
very good, but I think the spring is too tight or something,
because movement was jerky.
