Need help with Op Wolf Cabinet
« on: December 22, 2005, 10:25:25 pm »
Hello,

A friend of mine picked up an old Operation Wolf cabinet for free that had been sitting on a porch for some years.  It was very dirty and dusty, but after cleaing it all out and powering it on, we are greeted with the sweet sounds of MIDI music and the words "Operation Wolf!"  The coin mechs light up, the marquee is lit, except monitor does not turn on.  I am not sure how to trouble shoot it.  Also, when you push the coin mechs down manuall no audible "coin" sound is heard.  Anyone know much about this cabinet??  Thanks in advance!

Mine had a Hantarex MTC9000 it still had the crusty sticker on the back of the tube. I have the schematics for the monitor if you want. It's a 500K jpg. I'd have to email it though, it gets all resized and messed up if I up it to photobucket.

Not sure about the monitor.  But once you get it going if you need mechanical parts for the gun assy. I have a ton of them all NEW.  I was the parts manager for Taito America for 10 years and I hold all their old stock.  NO GRAPHICS.  All graphics and screens were destroyed.

Thanks,

Hey Ponyboy, the Operation Wolf cab I had was optical.

Were there some made for optical and some positional? (sp) (i.e. analog joystick guns?)
