Stupid Happ Trackball Q...screws?
« on: December 20, 2005, 10:23:40 am »
I bought a 3" Happ trackball off Ebay several months ago.  I'm almost to the point of finally being ready to mount the thing on my control pannel.  As I was drilling holes and routing out space for the mounting plate I realized that I don't seem to have any screws to mount the plate to the CP or the trackball to the mounting plate.

Do these normally come with the trackball?  If so, they may have and I just don't remember them or if not (or even if so) where can I get screws that will work?

Do I take the entire contraption to Home Depot and hope to find some skinny long screws that will work?

HELP!!

Mine had screws with it.  If I remember correctly, you don't need screws to install the mounting plate on to the CP - just drill four holes in the corners and push the thing on to your CP.  Then, from the underside of the CP, you can use four screws to attach the trackball to the posts on the mounting plate.  The screws will keep the trackball and mounting plate tight against the CP.
I'd swing by Home Depot to get the right screws.
