SNK rotary joysticks & Oscar mounting plate

I was just going over some details for my CP layout and noticed that my SNK LS-20s seem to have the same spacing for bolts as the Happ Competition.. as long as this is true, the Oscar mounting plates should work on these, right?

I'm just trying to figure out a way to get these things mounted without bolt heads showing (and would rather not have to make my own plates).. also, has anyone with these joys experienced problems mounting with 1/4" lexan?  Probably not, but I worry that joystick travel may be an issue since these are short and made for metal CPs..
