I was about to swap out a power supply in a cabinet (something new to me) and noticed that one of the connections on the old is labled 12V+ 2A, while on the new PS I pulled from another machine it's labled 12V+ 3A. All the other connectors are the same label. So, will the 3A one work? My thinking (hopefully) is that it doesnt' actually push 3A all the time but will allow consumption of 3A if necessary. If that's the case then I can replace the 2A with the 3A connection. Howeve,r I dont know if it does in fact push 3A or 2A, and I certainly don't want to ruin something! so, will this PS (otherwise identical to old one, peter chou, etc) work as a replacement? thx
