T-molding for us people using 3/4 mdf and laminate
« on: December 01, 2005, 01:22:22 pm »
whats up with no colors besides black being made in size 7/8" or above. With two pieces of laminate and 3/4 mdf you need 7/8 tmolding to work perfectly for your cab. Now i have an all black cab and i want to put the trim in red or some different non black color. Black on black looks plain boring to me. Anyway anyone know of a solution? Or will 3/4 t-molding work out for me will it be noticeable or what?? thanks

I have similar issues with my countertop, although I'd be happy with 13/16" as well.

Happ has polished brass in 13/16, IIRC.

Cheers.

3/4" will definately be too narrow for 3/4" MDF and even one piece of laminate.  You won't be happy with that unless you take a same-color sharpie and, carefully, 'paint' the exposed laminate edges to make it less obvious.
