miniature sliding panel
« on: November 23, 2005, 08:44:36 pm »
i'm looking for a small sliding door to cover up my volume controls on the side of my cabinet.  it really doesn't even have to be sliding.  could be hinged, or just whatever.  something easily openable/closeable.  the approximate size should be around 3" tall, and about 6" long.

i've looked for "sliding doors" "sliding panels" "small doors" etc. etc.  all i get are large doors for houses.  can't find anything similar to what i want.  anyone got any ideas?

You could try using a bit of perspex, or something similar, with small hinges attached...

Just a thought

This may give you some ideas...Consider a small hinged styrere box from a hardware or dollar discount store.  You could likely modify it and mount it into your cabinet somehow.
Just thinking outside the box, if you will.
