NesterDC speed (E, J?)
« on: November 28, 2005, 04:11:41 pm »
I just did the DC-into-an-NES mod.  It worked out really well.  I'll post some pics (hopefully soon).

But I just fired it up today and I just checked the Marios and it seemed to be running a little fast.  The music wasn't in the same groove.

Is there a way to change the speed settings in NesterDC?

Any thoughts?

you should just wait for the NESTERDC SE.  Thats going to be the final build.

Check the vmu display. If I recall, you can change the speed by moving the analog stick (possibly to the right), but the VMU should tell you if it's x1.0, x1.5 or x2.0 speed...I believe those are the correct multiples.

I use an older version though so it may have changed.

Are you the developer?  I'd be interested to learn more about all the features.

Anyways... I figured it out.  There is a (J) version and a (E) version.  I just assumed that they stood for Japan and Europe (is this right?).  Anyways, it's the (E) version I was running and the music is really fast.   The (J) works fine.

Anybody want to explain why?

Oooh, time to fix my Starfire light gun.

*crosses fingers, hoping that the controller input lag is fixed*

Great emu, but some games suffer from the minute lag.
