For sale, a very clean, barley used, 27" Flat tube VGA/SVGA arcade monitor with digital controls. The sticker on the chasis reads Pentranic 1627, but after emailing Pentranic I found out its a rebranded CH-2948 monitor used by Pentranic/Rodotron/Makvision. The CH-2948 documentation states it can support up to 800x600 resolution (with unofficial max of 1024x768).
I'm pricing this for a quick sale (as is) because the geometery/linearity of the monitor is off and I can't seem to adjust it to my liking with the digital controls. The pin balance digital control (D Shape control) also doesn't seem to do anything. You can see in the pictures below, a small bend on the left hand side, and the circles on the right both seem a little squished.
There are analog pots on the main PCB and neckboard for further adjustment, so if you are the technical type who knows about monitors, this is a diamond in the rough.
For pickup only. If you are within 100 miles of San Jose, I can meet you half way to deliver the monitor.
