How to disassemble a Star Wars Yoke
« on: November 23, 2005, 03:28:39 pm »

Greetings,

I have a Star Wars Yoke that I would like to restore.

The handles seem to be each attached by 2 socket head machine screws and a roll pin. Removing the socket head screws still leaves the handles firmly attached. Is there any way of getting them off other than drilling out the roll pins?

In my experience there are very few things that will stay together after a few well placed blows with a hammer. :) ::)
I used to be cool,  then they changed what cool was

Thanks!

I did manage to get the thing apart using a hammer and nail punch.

See, The answer to all life's problems is to keep applying force until it breaks or is fixed.
