Custom joystick handle making guys: I want one.

Two actually, and I don't want to pay $55 each.

I wonder how tall they are.. I saw those and immediately wanted both for my CP to solve the trigger stick issue(Assault ahoy!)

If I recall they appear to be leaf's too

I hadn't seen that particular style- usually for cocktails with buttons I remember ball tops with a round 1/4"button on top(like a nipple i suppose)

I was actually considering those but I finally decided against it. I never felt comfortable using that stick. It always felt way too awkward and sent me running for a full sized stick every time.

Nothing to do with Tron cocktails, but does anyone else remember these?

they're little levers that slide back and forth. I forgot all about these until I saw this auction

I'm ticked... >:(

I bid on both of them but got outbid at the last mintue by $1. (I was "rubbernuts") I was at band rehearsal and wasn't able to counter it.

I knew I should have just done the buy it now when they first went on at $55...

I'm hoping to get a couple and see if I can swap the shafts out on my Tsticks. Then I'll have the complete cocktail cabinet of doom...

Be afraid, be very afraid...

I remember those half ass'ed Galaxian cocktail controllers A few midway games used them. Midway's attempted space saver controller. If I remember correctlly they weren't very comfortable compared to the full sized sticks and they looked like some old knob off of a toaster from the 50s' . Not very "arcade'y" looking  :P. They had plenty of room to throw in a full sized stick. (talking about galaxian controllers not tron) What were they thinking ?  The mini Tron sticks were kinda cool though. Never played on them though. Every arcade I ever went to always had a full size Tron ;D

btw, I would have bid more on them myself

they are really rare tron cocktail joysticks.  And I'm about to build a cocktail table that could use one of them.

They are very sweet...

and you are always outbid by a buck in the last few seconds.  They could have bid 200 bucks...  And they would have got it for a buck more...  I wish you could find out what peoples max was afterwards...  Just to see how close you really where.

I missed a Disk of Tron control panel (by 6 bucks) yesterday in the last 20 seconds.  4 snipers came in... I had it for about 4 seconds : )

*Warning semi-related rant*
People often get mad about snipers, they think its not fair. Not that it was mentioned in this thread but I hear it alot. How is it not fair? Every one has the same fair shot at bidding what they are willing to pay. Yahoo auctions have a cool option. You can choose to extend your auction by 10 minutes if someone bids in the last 5 minutes. I bid against a guy for 4 1/2 hours $1-$5 at a time. I finally let it go...

Sniping hurts sellers more than buyers. If auctions were extended with last minute bids they would probably on average sell higher. I'm surprised Ebay has never implemented this feature. If auctions sold for more money they would get more fees, its not like ebay to miss an opportunity.
My statements are my own opinions. They have the value that the reader gives them. My opinion of my opinion varies between foolish and brilliant and these opinions often change with new information.

Regarding the sniping stuff, I knew I should I have just bid more in the first place...

Besides, I snipe all the time on EBAY. As a matter of fact, I just won something else by $1. So karma has been restored... ;D

Does anyone know if the TRON cocktail joystick is a 4-way or an 8-way with some sort of funky restrictor like the full-sized stick has?

Mucho thanks, i've been watching them. I happened to see them go on the other day so I did a buy it now. (my username there is "rubernuts"...

Once I get it in, I'm gonna see if the shaft can be swapped out on my t-stick.

That would give me the best of all worlds for my cocktail cab. I REALLY wanna get some tron going... ;D

I'll post some results later.

if you're using auto-bid, you'll always outbid the person by 1 incriment.  anyways...never order from someone who can't spell..."satin's hollow" does that have something to do with bedsheets?
