Mario Kart Hits the Arcades!
« on: November 21, 2005, 12:01:28 am »
Nintendo and Namco bring Mario kart to the Arcades in Japan so I hear...
it gives me a warm feeling to think that someone out there still wants to bring new attractions and Experiences to the arcades despite its fate... way to go...

its evedently vs Namco characters cause i can see the back of pacman, and maybe even a Ghost?

This has been posted a few times.  I think there may be a few machines in the U.S. that someone tried.

Arcades are still huge in Japan for people of all ages. Its kinda sad that they are slowly fading away here in the states.

arcades seem to be making a small comeback in some states and phasing out in others.

there was an arcade that had some really old and good games.  at least from what i could tell from looking through the windows as i drove by.  I never set foot in it and they tore it down in august i think.  it was on rt 17 in new jersey next to a popeyes.  they had sign up advertising a nathans pizza place and two other restaurants that would be there but they lost interest in the area.  so now there is no arcade or restaurants just a lot.  the only things i regret are not steping foot in it and not asking if the owner wanted to sell some games.
Back in MY day we lived on the moon and we had to build a rocket ship from scratch to get to the Earth before we suffocated.
