Midway Coin door dimensions
« on: November 19, 2005, 05:57:38 pm »
Great forum guys...

I am in the process of building my first cabinet (it's going to be a cocktail) and have almost finished the construction.

My ebay purchased midway coindoor won't get here until after thanksgiving and I don't want to wait that long to cut the hole for it.

Anyone know the standard dimensions for a midway coin door removed from a Sea Wolf 2 cabinet?  I have searched unsuccessfully...

Thanks in advance...

From the 1994 Happ Controls catalog:

12.38" (314mm) wide by 9.88" (251mm) high is what the hole cutout in the cabinet should be.

Forgive me for the dumb question, but the happ controls catalog lists the correct dimensions for the Midway coin door?

Thanks again for your patience with a newb...

Yes that is correct. Happ Controls was the final manufacturer of the Midway door. Midway bailed out of manufacturing coin doors and turned it all over to Happ years ago. Happ discontinued the Midway door later. The last catalog I have that shows it is the 1994 edition.
