DTXMania drums...
« on: November 18, 2005, 10:17:31 pm »
Well, I'm an ex-MAME cab owner (built a MAME cab out of a Showcase cabinet a long while back, but it was WAY too big for my living space so I sold it and kinda dropped out of the emulation scene for a while) and am in the process of planning a new cab. I've done a search of the boards and saw posts talking about using the original arcade board, or a PS2 w/Drum Controller to come up with a "Drum Mania" like cab...

I have no intention of doing either...

I recently bought a mini electronic midi drumkit off ebay with the sme intention of using it in a cab (eventually...) like this.

if you are going to go the diy route http://edrum.for.free.fr/ seems to be the main source for home drum builders.
