Xbox controller hack

Which is the best xbox controller to hack the s, a pelican, gamestop, fps master?  I wanted an fps master but i read they are flimsy and arent respnsive enough.  i want to move the lettered buttons to the grips.  how would i do this?

What do you mean hack?

At first I thought you meant for arcade stick use, but then you mentioned flimsy, which wouldn't have any bearing on a gutted for arcade use controller.

The FPS Master is an excellent controller for hacking, especially since you can remap any button to another including the d-pad, and it stores 3 different settings.

As a controller... It could be excellent, and is in concept, but it is definitely flimsy. The triggers being the biggest problem. If you use the controller regularly, then it is pretty much a guarantee that a trigger (most likely the right one) will break.

Light use, fine.. any real gaming, there toast in a few sessions generally

i wanted to use the design of the fps master but use the more rugged controller s or a gamestop brand one and drill holes on the grips and move the lettered buttons to the grips.  So i would like to know which xbox controllers are best to modify?  Kinda like how certain dreamcast controllers are btter to use than others i have the same question for xbox controllers.
