Hi,
I've been looking up tons of information on the Jamma audio standard. From what I understand, it's mono sound and your speaker must be hooked up to the L 10 pinouts of the jamma harness.
I have a Marvel vs Capcom arcade machine with one speaker. I am missing the speaker on the right side, so I will buy a new one and install it.
The Marvel vs Capcom PCB is stereo. So, does this mean I can wire the second speaker to the M 11 pinout of the jamma harness and get stereo?? I was reading that the M 11 pins are for the Right speaker. I also know that marvel vs capcom pcb has left and right audio out jacks, which could be hooked to an amplifier, but I wanted to know if I could wire stereo sound using only the jamma harness.
And if I did wire the left and right speakers to the L10 and M11 pinouts, what would happen? I don't understand why the M11 pinout for the right speaker is there, if the jamma standard is Mono.
If someone could explain this to me, that would be great.
