I find the epinions.com site very useful for getting product ratings from people who have actually used the product and can rate it objectively (i.e., power tools, shop stuff, electronics, etc...). Its one of the best ways to research something BEFORE you buy it IMHO.

Does anyone know of similar sites like epinions.com out there that are good and useful?

Most other sites seem to weed out a lot of the bad reviews, especially if they're selling the product.
