Buy.com no longer has larger cover images.

About a day or two ago I noticed that Buy.com no longer has the option to see a larger picture of the cover of an album.

Yes - Buy.com..

Here's how:

WITH FIREFOX:

Find the album you want, and then do a right click on the SMALL IMAGE and do a "View Image".  The result is the small image in a new page like this:

http://ak.buy.com/db_assets/prod_images/403/64012403.jpg

Just go to the URL and replace "prod" with "large"  like this:

http://ak.buy.com/db_assets/large_images/403/64012403.jpg

WITH IE:

Find the album you want, and then do a right click on the SMALL IMAGE and do a "Copy Shortcut".  Paste the shortcut in the Address bar of the IE browser like so:

javascript:largeIM('http://ak.buy.com/db_assets/large_images/403/64012403.jpg');hide('ppForm')

now REMOVE everything before the "http://" and after the ".jpg", like so:

http://ak.buy.com/db_assets/large_images/403/64012403.jpg

viola!..... a little more difficult, but definitely possible still....

 ;D

edited for differences between FIREFOX and IE

Okay, I guess the method described for IE works for both as well....
