« on: November 03, 2005, 12:41:25 pm »
yeah i am an idiot, i was testing out my cp in my basement TV room and I tripped over the usb cable, and broke it up pretty good.  I am trying to thing of a way to get a replacement, but i don't want to ship one from the UK to the US, will somethin like this work for me, use a USB (Female) to PS/2 (Male) Keyboard Adapter, and then use a Male to male USB?

I believe Andy has said that usb adapters work fine for the ipac.  You may want to write him to be sure though.

Yes, I use one a USB -> PS/2 adapter on mine.

I have the SlikStik illuminated balltop joys and if I plug my Ipac in with the USB cable, they are always on.  I plug it into the PS/2 port and they go off when the machine is off.

Leaving the joys on to light up is cool...except when my little kids see them and start playing with the machine when I am not around.
