I am working on an upright cab and would like to add 2 steering wheels and 2 sets of pedals.
Before I ask my questions, here are my findings/assumptions:
(1) There are 2 types of pedals - analog and microswitch
(2) The analog pedals use POTS (with varying capacitors), need an analog board like the A-PAC, and allow for pressure sensitive control (ie, press all the way down = 100% acceleration, half way down = 50%)
(3) The microswitch pedals use cherry switches (like my t-sticks), can use any encoder (ie, GPWIz, MiniPac, etc) and allow for ON/OFF control (ie, gas is on or off only)
(4) Using
http://fe.donkeyfly.com/controls/gamesbycontrol.php (thanks SirP / HC), I found the following:
- 29 that use microswitch pedals
- 22 that use analog pedals
- 8 that use a second analog pedal
Questions:
(1) Can one type of pedal support both types of control modes?
