Canadian arcade resources

Why yes I can!    I bought my happs parts from Canadian Coin Machine:

Even though there's a local place, these guys turned out to be half the price.  Shipping was only $10 or so.  Ordering from Happ directly would've cost me $50 more because of customs, etc.  Only beef is they sent me a used P2 button.  It wasn't hard to clean, but I was a little upset about it.

They're only a 20 minute drive down the freeway from here...how did you order from them? (parts selection on the parts page seems sparse...7 items, do they have more stuff or a catalog?) do they normally take orders from individuals?

Oh yes, they sell to the public indeed.  I agree - their webpage is terrible.  I put together what I wanted from Happ's page and phoned CCM.  They told me what they had, and what they didn't have in stock.  I placed my order over the phone and received my order less than a week later.  I was impressed (except for the used P2 button and price misquotes).  

I didn't get a catalog, but I imagine they'd have more than 7 parts .  Give 'em a call or e-mail them.   I'm sure they'd be happy to give you a catalog.

they rock.  They're in mississauga.  You can walk right in and pickup the parts.  They stock most of the common items.  You'll have a hard time getting small items like springs, e clips, etc.

Starburst is great m3talslug, not to mention, I am pretty sure they are having an auction this Saturday.  I picked up an MK3 Ultimate cab in amazing shape for $200 last time.  Some good deals for anyone living in the Toronto area!!

Wow, I can't believe you got a MK3 for that price. The last auction of theirs that  I was at was expensive!

Update - I just spoke to Par from Canadian Coin Machine.  In addition to giving me a used P2 button, they had misquoted me and charged me around $15 too much for the order.  Par is sending me a new P2 button, and a Happ Super joystick at no cost for my troubles.

I thought this was nice of them.  Eceptional service.  I recommend Canadian Coin Machine to anyone in Canada.

I've tried emailing Canadian Coin Machine twice now, and they just don't respond. I'm starting to think that either they don't check their emails, or they don't want my money.

Odonadon, could you give me the email address of your contact over there? Maybe I'll have better luck talking to him directly.

Sometimes I wonder how a business that simply ignores potential customers could survive longer than a week. I'm just totally baffled, frankly.

But the dude I spoke to was Par.  It looks like they've changed their web page.  everyone seems to be using hotmail.com or telus.net e-mail addresses now.  Par's new e-mail address is:

ccmpar@hotmail.com

Can't remember what his original e-mail was, unfortunately.  I say give them a call.  That's what I did, and didn't have any problems.
