Only problem is that he only ships with DHL and DHL only delivers during working hours (at least here in Holland), which sucks when both me and my wife have a daytime job. Our "normal" mail service always (re)delivers a package in the evening hours for these situations.

Even worse, when my wife went to pick up the package at a DHL distribution centre (25 km's drive, both ways) since they left a card telling us to do so (WTF !!!!???) it was not there because it was still again being delivered ?!?!?
With "normal" mail, I can pick up the package at my next post office "around the corner" when they tried to deliver twice in vain...

Anyway, this is all definitly NOT Andy's fault, but I'd like it if he added the possibility to send stuff with regular mail in the future.

I usually check the little box that states it's ok to leave the package at the door. Yes, that leaves the possibility that someone will walk off with it, but it has not happened yet.

Yeah good fast delivery but DHL bent my coin door and screwed up my trackball. One of their drivers inconsiderately crashed the van! Sure he was ok though ???

Three days from order to my doorstep in Florida.  Using a Balltop J Stick as my four way and the IPAC as my encoder.  I just left a note on my door asking the DHL guy to leave the package on my doorstep and to take the note if he needed a signature.  No problem for me but I guess it depends where you live to feel comfortable in doing this.

Andy ships very quickly to the states. I've ordered several items from him with no problems. He once forgot a cable but sent a new one out the next day. I just have it shipped to my office so I don't have to go to DHL to get it.

Yeah shipping to work would be an option, but I work "on the road" as a Field Service Engineer, so I am very rarely at "the office", and my wife works at a secret place for Dutch Tax Investigations.  :D

I live in a quite safe area, but leaving stuff near you door is not a thing you do here....there is always a chance someone would be interested...sometimes they deliver to neighbours, that would be fine with me.

Anyway, again this has nothing to do with Andy, it's just a DHL problem.....Andy's stuff is great, and he ships very quickly.

Just wanted to say that in the UK at least this is a problem with just about all couriers.  I think you have to pay a load to get deliveries outside of office hours.

While it is a right pain (I just had to drive 15 miles to pick up a parcel) I suppose the requirement for a signature is probably a good thing, generally.  Our 'normal' post will sometimes leave stuff outside...while I've had no problems things can easily be rained on or nicked...

Oh, and DHL have been a lot better to me than 'smash everything possible' UPS.

The DHL was very fast for me, about 3-4 days in the west coast (CA, USA).
It was even faster than some of the stuff I get here.
