Bartop plans
« on: October 29, 2005, 02:08:26 pm »
I have an upright cabinet but I'm probably going to move into an apt., which means I may end up selling the upright and needing a bartop. So, I'm going to build a bartop...and hey, if I don't move, I'll have to cabinets. :)
So, can you guys direct me to a source for some good bartop plans? Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards,
Mario

Your best bet is to do a search on these forums.   Search project announcements and the main forum

Cool, thanks for the suggestions. I really need specific plans, because I don't have the woodworking/mechanical skills to make one on my own. I think I may go with the blank cabinet available from extraordinaryarcade.com. Thanks again!

I have a document written up on how I built my bartop.  There's a PDF doc on the page.  http://www.arcadecab.com/Projects/BarCade.htm
It's not terribly original, being based on Menace's and Oscars but might give you some  ideas on where to start.  A Barop is a great project to cut your teeth on and build your woodworking skills.

Hey, that's perfect. Thank you so much for the link/plans!   And wish me luck on my project!
