newbie, Looking for some Coin Door help
« on: October 17, 2005, 11:51:41 pm »
Just began building my first cab (actually 2, one for me and a friend).
The cabs are well under construction and we're getting some of the "details" now. Just ordered the Marquee holders a minute ago.

Next on the list is Coin Doors.  I'm looking for 2 in nice condition (I really don't want to have to refurbish, but will if I must). I wanted a door wide enough that I can get to my computer to load a CD.
They don't need to accept coins, but I'd like to be able to wire the button to turn on the PC.

Suggestions greatly appreciated.  I'm looking for 2 of them and I'l pay about $50 - $60.

Thanks guys, This site has been very informative!

www.happcontrols.com - there are several...

ebay is probably a better bet, if you want to save some cash.  You might well need to spend a bit of time and a lick of paint tho...

edit: sorry, bad link (corrected)

There's no hyphen in that. It should be www.happcontrols.com and look at the blank coin/access doors.
