T-mold.com selection is better...
« on: October 15, 2005, 01:05:19 pm »
Recently, went searching for t-molding for my MAME cab. And, I found that t-mold.com has more sizes and colors available.

They have a page that has all of their moldings listed at:

http://www.t-mold.com/t-mold.htm

These guys were pretty good with getting me set up with a slot cutter and some 5/8" light blue for my cab.

Next time you try to peddle you wares and pass it off as an unbiased user review, maybe you should use an email address from a domain that DOESN'T redirect you straight to the site you are talking about  ::) ::) ::) ::)

Go away troll.  We already know about t-mold.com here, and it has a pretty nice reputation.  keep up this kind of stuff though, and it might not stay that way.

And for everyone else in case he changes it:

His email in his profile is: greg@stievenart.com

Hey, look at that... take a little trip to stievenart.com and it redirects you to.... T-Mold.com!  What a crazy coincidence.....

Nice that we can comment on this... the lock on the post was really lame. Just like the posting.

I love hearing about new sites and products... but I HATE it when people try to pull over something like this.

If they had replacement Nichibutsu T-molding, I'd have posted ads all over FOR them.

Not a very clever move....this hasn't helped him a lot ...

Anyway, as long as no one stocks the fluorescent T-mold, they all suck ;)

I don't get it. Why didn't he make a professional sounding user name, maybe put a line in his signature about who he is and what his business is, and post like anyone else does? People respond a lot better to that approach, kind of like the guy from Ultimarc or Oscar Controls. People usually would rather buy from someone they "know", and that is readily available on a forum to answer questions and address concerns in public.

Of course, most likely, he doesn't give a flying flip about arcade machines or MAME machines, and has no interest in learning, and just wanted to cash in on the fact that people in this hobby buy a lot of T-molding. I wonder if he has made any similar posts on general woodworking/cabinetry forums or whatever.

Before "busting" him, the folks here should have pressed him for details about his alleged "MAME cab", lol.

Romboxx (aka slickstickTM) pulled this same stunt years ago in the newsgroups.

That's a strange one.  I mean, I think all of us would us t-molding.com if and when we were looking for the stuff.  They have fast shipping, good selection etc.  Ploys like this never work.  Hey Atomic punk, you would have been better to come in here and go "t-molding.com is in danger of going out of business if we don't move some of our inventory".  A lot of us would put in an order even if we didn't need it!

So t-molding, the best thing right now would be to fess up and just apologize.  Hey, we all make mistakes.  ;D

Zakk, I think you need to replace t-molding.com with t-mold.com ... t-molding.com did nothing wrong ...

Cheers.

Until he apologizes to the guys at T-molding via this forum... I am.

--- edit ---
Maybe a mod can change the title on this thread?
"user unregistered" or something?  Seems like people just browsing the forum would get the wrong impression without reading the actual thread.

What T-Mold should have done is change the thread title himself.

I don't think he really needs to apologize to t-molding.com... maybe to the board at large...

He would have been much better off saying who he was and linking to his site. That way people could try it out as they pleased.
