cherry button identification... (Mouser order)
« on: October 10, 2005, 01:30:09 pm »
hi y'all,

i'm going to make an order for myself over at mouser and needed some help identifying two switches.  the first is easy and i expect an answer within seconds, cause you guys are so great.  The second is where i think i'm gonna have to fudge it...

1.  a regular cherry microswitch like in all our pushbuttons...all mine are a half an hour away, so i can't check the actual switches, but i figure someone can tell me off the top of their heads.

2.  it's an omron (omrin?) switch with an arm that has a wheel on the end, that activates the switch when pressed (obviously).  I'll scan the actual switch so you guy's can help me identify it and find a cherry equivalent, but my biggest worry is the actuating force.  it's for my sega lightgun and it's my trigger switch, just to let you know.  i'll get more info posted tonight at like 10pm (oregon time).

if you go here:

and look at switch F, that is basically what my switch looks like.  do those forces and ratings look right for a switch for my trigger though?
