« on: January 15, 2003, 11:00:35 pm »
Im thinking of getting one(http://happcontrols.com/joysticks/50997000.htm), but i dont want to get one if isnt too useful.  I know it would be good with tron...what about afterburner?  any other games?  also, any other alternatives to that one i have linked?

Thanks

You can use it in any game. Some people like to use the top fire button for blocking in fighting games. Not arcade authentic but convenient.

My statements are my own opinions. They have the value that the reader gives them. My opinion of my opinion varies between foolish and brilliant and these opinions often change with new information.

It would be handy in 2 stick games, like Assault or Battlezone, where both hands need to be on the sticks.
Also games that use a stick and spinner or some other rotary doo-hickey, like Tron(obviously), but also Frontline and Ikari Warriors

On a completely unrelated note, tonight I discovered Bosconian.  Cool little game, I like it
