Ive noticed static from inside my cabinet when i first boot up it lasts for a few minutes, i cant see it but can hear it, ive got an arcade monitor and a pc with no case inside, is it somethink i should be worried about

Sounds baaaad.  Better know what you're doing w/rto the 30000 or so volts on that monitor...

Some kind of grounding strap might be necessary.
Do you have a plexi in close proximity to the monitor? Wondering if it could just be something simple like static from the screen when you fire it up.
