Spinner not working with SlikStik Classic

Never mind.  I got the Spinner working.  It seems that they key was to delete everything within my mame/cfg folder.  Once I did that, the spinner just started working.

Wow!  Tempest is amazing!

Hmmm... I'm sure that I'm doing something wrong, but I've tried everything I can think of to get the Spinner working in games like Tempest with my new SlikStik Classic.  The joysticks work in Tempest, but the Spinner and/or Trackball do nothing.

The spinner is plugged in via USB and it will move the mouse right and left smoothly in Windows XP.

My mame.ini file has the following entries:

For "dial_device" and "paddle_device" I've tried "keyboard, mouse, slikstik" all as options and nothing works.

Any ideas?
