Trying to get a quote for my Mame Candy Cab
« on: September 29, 2005, 11:12:48 am »
Yo guys  8). I am kinda considering selling my Neo29 cab locally, maybe if the price was right. I was hoping some of you "experts" could tell me what I should expect to get for something like this...

Included:

-Neo29 Candy Cabinet
-29inch CGA Monitor (Looks amazing)
-Custom Control Panel with 6 button setup (done by myself)
-Original Neo29 control panel (to swap out if needed)
-ArcadeVGA video card 7000 series
-2ghz PC with 512mb ram
-2.1 Creative Labs Speakers with Subwoofer inside of course  8)
-X-arcade keyboard encoder with USB connection (Works perfectly)
-All Sanwa Joysticks and Sanwa Buttons
-Optional Dreamcast hookup both for joysticks and video via serial boxes
-Reworked Coindoor for quarters (originally took yen)

I think that's about it, so how much $$$ do you think I could get for this beast. Thanks in advance to all those that reply!!  ;D ;D ;D

Erm..  If you're anywhere near Indianapolis, I'd say about $200 is fair, and I'll take it  :D

Heh.  I have no idea what it's worth, but I'll be keeping my eye on this thread because I seem to remember you being from Kentucky..  And I have family there that could pick this up for me..  :D

(Sorry I have no useful info to post..  good luck selling it.  Looks like a great cab!!!)

My beat up super neo 29 with non working monitor cost me around 150.
(Took me a few days to fix the monitor)

Your cab looks to be nice with a good monitor, so I'd say around 400 for the cab.
(Basically the same as the Astro city cabs in another thread.)

Then just price the computer with what a comparable one would cost.

+90 for the avga.
+30 for the keyboard encoder.

I was thinking a long the lines of $900. I think that seems fair.  :police:

Do you still have your original control panel?

If you do, would you sell it?

Thanks.

Hmm, my guess would be about 750.00 for the cab/computer/etc.

Looks amazing though, I've wanted a candy can since the first time I saw one.

I'd buy that for a dollar!

I'd buy it if you were in my area...
