Saw this in New York, New York
« on: September 28, 2005, 02:00:09 am »
I just got back from Las Vegas (wonderful trip, not counting the part where America West lost my luggage) and I had to snap this pic of what I saw in the arcade at New York, New York. It's probably been posted before, but it's probably worth another laugh. :)

Do a search here, at MameWorld and mame.net for 'david foley' and you'll find a heap of stuff to read...enjoy.

and yes, it IS the ugliest artwork I've ever seen on a cab.

With sideart like that, ultracade should really look into building some frankenpanels to go with that cab :)

There's an out of order UltraCade machine down the street from me too. Maybe I should get a photo of that too. Sometimes they have it turned on, but it's always frozen on the game selection screen.

For sure.

It looks to me that the one in the pic in Vegas isn't even on.  Great money maker you got there.

....you know the physical cabinet is actually neat....but the art really is awful. I think some MAME cabs here at BYOAC look more professional!......

It's only a matter of time before one of us gets to MAME one......give it another couple of years......one of will definitely MAIME it!!!! (spelling error was intentional!).

MameMaster!
Seriously. Will it fit in my basement or what?

Yep, saw it too when I went to Vegas for my honeymoon in July.  That was the first time I saw an Ultracade in person.  Pretty ugly machine IMO.

Despite the sideart, I would have played it if I hadn't known of the controversy.

Cheers,
