3 & 4 Player Buttons
« on: September 27, 2005, 07:52:05 pm »
Is there any reason to have 3 and 4 player and 3 and 4 coin insert buttons on your control panel layout if you plan on it being a 2 player control panel? Are there any games that are 4 player but used only one or two controls?
Thanks
Glenn

There are a few games that would be either 2 player simultaneous or 2 player versus, depending on which coin slot/start button is used.

One example is NBA JAM.

Yes, just like Track and Field. I forgot about that game. With that in mind, I guess I would need the 3 or 4 player buttons. I don't think I would need the 3 or 4 player insert coin buttons though, I could just use the 1 player insert coin.
Thanks
