Anyone in the Cincinnati Area
« on: January 13, 2003, 04:58:11 pm »
Looking for anyone in the Cincinnati area that has a MAME cabinet I can check out. I'm new to all of this and would like to see a finished product before diving in. I'll bring the beverages. Thanks.  :)

I am... but it's in my garage right now... And I never finished it... got it working and stopped there..  Spent to much time on my frontends.

But I'm going to (hopefully) make a cocktail table soon...

I'm in NorthSide btw.

My cabinet's in Middletown, OH.  Only problem is that I'm away at school.  Wish you would have caught me over Christmas break.  Maybe over the summer.    ---Jay

Hey str1der...  I am also in Cincinnati.  Maineville, to be specific.  Looking into building my cabinet too.  Perhaps we can get our brains together and build them both at once!

Where exactly are you located?

Hrmmm that's pretty far  :(  About 30-40 miles I think.    you know, I've been having a very hard time finding a distributor in the area that would carry empty cabs...  I really think the wayb to go is to buy something in decent conditions and build from there.

Yeah that's kind of been my thought also. Like you said not a lot around here. I do know there is an auction in Columbus next month. I was just hoping to get a chance to check out someones MAME cab before I started.

US amusement is having one in columbus March 29th.  I'll prob drive down from Cleve-Land to check it out - I went to one in NJ last year and thought it was pretty cool.  Maybe I'll find something that will fit in my little mazda :)

Here's a link to their calendar: http://www.usamusement.com/calendar.html
