ummm need a bit help with coin door cut out measure...

see the cut out measure is 10.16" x 12.68" but what is .16 and .68???

can anyone help me out please?

so could you change it into factor (sp?) like 1/4? 1/8? 3/4 etc

Multiply the decimal part by whatever unit you want to use.

.16 x 16 = 2.56 (That would be between 2/16 and 3/16).
.68 x 16 = 10.88 (That would be between 10/16 and 11/16).

.16 x 32 = 5.12 (5/32)
.68 x 32 = 21.76 (22/32, which is 11/16)

16/100 = x/32

lets cross mutiply, its fun!

100x = 512
x = 512/100
x = 5.12

So, .16 = 5.12/32s (5/32-ish)

Now if a train was leaving Cleveland at 30 miles per hour and Johnny has three apples..


Wait till you get the door and trace it because it would sure suck to find out the measurements on the site were a typo and you cut too big..

i finally got it installed with lots of sanding!!

I have always just layed the door on the wood, traced around it, and then gone in a bit from the trace. I never bothered to measure one.
