Raiden Fighters II Cabinet - looks like?
« on: September 21, 2005, 09:26:42 am »
There's a cabinet for sale near me that has Raiden Fighters II in it.  I don't know if the cab is original to the game or not, but I'm looking at buying the cabe to MAME it.

The reason I chose this one is because, it's cheap since nobody seems interested in the title, and the CP on the cab now looks like it will lend itself well to modification.  I think I'm looking at less the cost of two sheets of sanded 3/4" plywood for the cabinet.

I would just like to get a better look at the CP arrangement.  I was hoping that someone had pictures of this cabinet.  If it turns out that the game is not in it's original cabinet, I'll feel even less guilty about MAMEing it.

I believe raiden fighters II is a JAMMA game so I doubt there was a dedicated cabinet built just for it (look it up on klov for more info). Most of the raiden series games that I've seen were all mounted in dynamo cabs (or whoever makes the ones with the metal cut-corner cp's). Go ahead and "MAME" away if you want...  ;D

Hmm that game usually goes for a bit at auctions I've seen. (over $300 cdn).

It's most likely in a generic cab or a conversion.
NO MORE!!
