I have a PC10 cabinet that has been converted to Jamma (neo geo, to be exact), and I have a working single monitor PC10 board..
So I bought a 44 and 36 pin edge connector, and a jamma fingerboard, and whipped up a little loom for myself.. Monitor displays fine, sound isn't hooked up yet, but I'm sure its OK..
So here's my questions:
I dont have the cage and filter board for it. The cage I think I can live without, but I'm wondering about the filter board. The board has small caps (0.01uf) on each control to ground. Now it's been a long time since my electronics classes in school, but I figure this is some sort of debouncing type of rig-up. Do I need to add these caps? Right now the panel is all hacked up, I need to fix it tomorrow (still a neo-geo layout, but I have enough buttons to play with). I'll be on the lookout for a replacement single monitor CP (two of them were auctioned on eBay last week, and I'm kicking myself for not bidding

)
Also, does anyone have a schematic for the countdown display? From the block diagrams, it looks straightforward, a bunch of data lines and +5/Gnd going to it, seems like something I could rebuild. Not that it's all that necessary, since I plan to set the cab on freeplay anyways..
