chd - how needed?

im assuming that games that have a chd, need a chd to run, am i correct? 

did a search, and got some crazy stuff up =(

the chd is a compressed hard drive file... without it, the game won't be doing much ;)

Even with the CHD files those games might not be doing much.  There are only a few that are playable.   ;D

but yeah, thats exactly what i thought.  Ill just clear out all of the chd-needing games...
