are there any alternatives to T-Molding??

i see you can buy black edging strip dont know how good this would be

I used a combination of Black melamime iron-on edging and a Black Plastic L Channel bought from B&Q in the UK.

Im pleased with the results. obviously t moulding would be better but I dont have a router, nor the correct size part,

If you wanted to go without any molding or decorative trim you could use a router and round the edges out with the right bit.

Somewhere there's a relatively recent thread where a guy did just that and IMO he had pretty good results.
