My design + some important questions
« on: September 18, 2005, 04:29:13 pm »
I designed this using MameRoom Designs CP Designer. A couple of notes about it:

I'm going to put a Ms. Pacman/Galaga 4-way joystick in that space above the trackball between the four buttons, using an Oscar mounting plate.

I'm going to use a Slikstik Tornado spinner, not an M3.

Also, I have some specific questions:

Is the Oscar mounting plate for the M3 spinner the same as the Oscar mounting plate for the Ms Pacman/Galaga 4-way joystick? That is, if I were to add an "Oscar Controls M3 w/plate" to the design, would the space they routed out there accomodate my 4-way joystick mounting plate? (I realize that if it did, I would still have to cut out a bigger hole to accomodate the joystick itself. I can do this.)

Would the hole they cut to accomodate an M3 spinner in the upper-right corner, also accomodate the Tornado?

Finally, is there anything wrong in general with the control panel?

Thanks in advance

Yeah, but I think the front and bottom are going to work out very well with your layout.  I also like the left side alot.  aswell, too.
