My IPAC4 for your IPAC2 *****
« on: September 17, 2005, 02:53:34 am »
I have a BRAND NEW Ipac4 that I was going to use for a 4 player cabinet. I decided to build a 2 player instead. I know I can still use the 4 but why not offer it up on here instead.

Here is the deal.

You send me your BRAND NEW(hopefully) IPAC2 and $20. I send you my IPAC4.

Deal?

I think that the problem here is that you are really only offering someone a $5 discount for an item, that while you may be completely honest and say is new,  some people still consider it used because it has been in your possession for an unknown amount of time.

Also, more people that bought an IPAC2 needed an IPAC2.  They most likely are not going to tear apart their 2 player control panel and start over building a 4 player.  They would either just keep on going with their 2 player, or will keep the 2 player and build a whole other control panel for 4 players and swap them around.

I wish you good luck.  I had a IPAC2 a few months back that was new, and I needed an IPAC4, but my situation was that I sold my 2 player cabinet to a guy at work that wanted me to build him one.  He had the joysticks and buttons and an IPAC2.  I sold him the cabinet for cash, plus his parts.  I figured if I was going to build another cabinet, I should build a better one for me, not for him.  I then started on a venture with another guy to look at constructing cabinets for sale, so he bought all of the parts off of me for regular price, and I ordered a new IPAC4 for myself.

Even though I had that need a couple of months ago, I don't think that I would have swapped out for a $5 savings.

Again, good luck.  You may be better off just selling the IPAC4 straight up and put the cash towards an IPAC2.

And then you have to factor in the cost to ship the ipac2 to you.

Hey Broken,

The stars seems to work quite well at grabbing attention, don't they?

When you see them in a subject line do you get all red in the face and pound your fists on your keyboard?

By the way, my Ipac4 is SOLD.

Thanks!

I am happy for you that your ipac sold.

Dude, it takes so much more than some stars on a screen to get me pounding my keyboard.

The funniest part was I was full of booze the night when I wrote "no thanks ******". Normally I would just continue on my merry way.   ;D
