Seven Games for Sale [US - NY - Albany]
« on: September 16, 2005, 06:58:47 am »
Friend of mine in Albany, NY area has seven games for sale:

Gyruss
Pole
Track n Field
Mat Mania
Tournament Golf
Popeye
Some kind of Trivia

Any interest?  I'm looking at the Gyruss myself.

No pictures.

Games have been in storage.  Consider them "non-working" as I have no idea of their operating condition.

About $75 each, BUT:

1) They must all be picked up at once.  So that makes things interesting...

2) Likely they'll have to be picked up on a WEEKDAY, during BUSINESS HOURS.  That makes things *more* interesting.

I *may* be able to talk the guy into a weekend day.  It depends on how much interest we could actually get on these.  Since you're the only one to respond thus far...it's not looking good.

The only reason I got into this at all was for the Gyruss, so...

But due to a lack of interest, looks like none will be going anywhere.

Just heard back from the guy that owns these games.  They've got to get moved - and soon - otherwise they might undergo 'drastic measures'.

So if there's anyone that is wanting one or more of these, now's the time to act.

This is unfortunate for me because I'm often in that area and would join you if I had the opportunity (despite my wife's outright objections).  ;)

Maybe next time.

If he's going to toss them by Thursday and you don't want to bother, let me know - I'll grab the Gyruss as a public service!

(Free, of course - since I am doing a public service and driving all that way...)

So, where should I cruise to find them by the roadside?

PM me if you want to give hints...

Note: they're not my games.  You won't find them by the roadside.  If that was the case, you'd find ME there before you got there.

The games will now be parted out and the cabinets tossed.

I know. But, usually if someone needs to get rid of their cabs, and no-one bites, they get tossed. I'm all for free since I'm not a big fan of any of those games he has...

Oh, they'll be tossed all right...after parting them out, they'll be broken up, and tossed into the dumpster.

Yes, it is a shame.  I unfortunately *do* give a crap.  But there's nothing I can do, so I'm not going to sweat it (much).
